Hallelujah!
a command to praise the LORD
(thought to be the standardized call to praise in OT worship)
literally: praise ye Yah (You... praise Yahweh / the LORD!)
it is not actually a word of praise to God, though commonly used that way
so when I hear the command 'Hallelujah!' I will then praise Him!
