This Will Characterize a Christian

(remember: I am growing toward Christian maturity - and this is one of the excellent things I am blessed to pursue)


patience (as in Eph 4:2)

with respect to persons (rather than circumstances or things)

self-restraint of my mind...

- especially before it gives room to actions or passions

- even when I am provoked

- even when I'm wronged (as in 2 Tim 2:24), enduring of ill and injury

able to avenge myself, but refraining from doing so

    Pursuing patience is a wonderful aim. Thanks for clarifying how this might look.

    had a tought time with it today. At walmart with grandkids who were hungry and I"m in pain and the checkout was not working, came out and couldn't find my car. Its little things that get me.
